One of my first afghans was a ripple. I knew nothing so I had two books, one telling how many and what kind of stitches and another to tell me what the heck they were talking about.

You may use my idea and here's another. Hubby made a wonderful coat rack by using large bullet casings...perfect for the guy's coats. Just nail a large EMPTY bullet casing at a slant into a board or wall. The slant helps it stay, the bullet casing covered the nail...simple but it shouts Man!
